WHO'S THAT?
A reflection awareness book for young readers...by Julie Duell c.2010 (For Julia Claire)

The End.
Just think - if you lived where there were no shiny surfaces to see yourself in and no cameras,
you would have no idea what you looked like, would you? The only way to see an image of yourself the right way
around is in photographs, videos...or use more than one mirror, which can be very tricky!
How about checking out shiny surfaces where you are to see if you are reflected in them! If the surface
is curved (like a saucepan or kettle) it will distort your image and
if you look at yourself in a big shiny spoon you might even see yourself upside down in the inside curve!
Today we saw a kookaburra (Australian bird) pecking away at its reflection in a car windscreen. We think it was having a fight
with what it thought was another young kookaburra. Have you ever seen birds do this?
