Just think - if you lived where there were no shiny surfaces to see yourself in and no cameras, you would have no idea what you looked like, would you? The only way to see an image of yourself the right way around is in photographs, videos...or use more than one mirror, which can be very tricky!

How about checking out shiny surfaces where you are to see if you are reflected in them! If the surface is curved (like a saucepan or kettle) it will distort your image and if you look at yourself in a big shiny spoon you might even see yourself upside down in the inside curve!

Today we saw a kookaburra (Australian bird) pecking away at its reflection in a car windscreen. We think it was having a fight with what it thought was another young kookaburra. Have you ever seen birds do this? Do you have a story about reflections to share here?...please send by email to:
