Magical little folk are known by many different names all over the world. Maybe you know about Fairies, Elves, Gnomes, Pixies or Leprochauns and some of you may have even seen some! The Australian ones in these stories are called "Sprites". You have to be very quiet and look very closely to see them because their world is so tiny. The Wildflower Sprites are very pretty like Fairies and there are funny Sprites too, like the Podlings who look after the seedpods. There are also amazing Sprites of the Rocks, Fire, Water, Wind and Rockpools! The funny big Rock Sprite with the happy face pops up in all the stories, because rocks are just about everywhere!
